Started my new job today working as an archivist sort of person for AIG. They're in the process of converting all their policy accounts from paper to digital, so I'm one of the worker bees who organizes the account folders and gets to read through a few hundred pages of insurance policies and amendments and make it a little shorter (like, 1-4 ( Read more... )

This past weekend I went home to visit the fam for a few days. Went to visit my gramma at the hospital for an hour or so, first - she broke her leg a few weeks ago, not long after I moved back to the Point area, and she isn't healing up as well as anyone hoped she would. Why hello again, Anxiety. Been awhile. Now, not to be rude, but please leave again as soon as f'in possible. And try not to leave me with quite so much grey in my hair as you did the last few times. I joke that I'll be totally grey by the time I hit 40 at this rate, but let's leave it as nothing more than a joke, okay?

Reached all the goals except for the applications one. And the "Clean dishes as you get them dirty" had about a 50% success rate - I did manage to bigger things, but the little things got left dirty in the sink or next to it. 3.5/5 would still get me a passing grade (barely), so I'm going to call it win ( Read more... )
